Message
The 2009 season of the Garden Club of Shelter Island opens with a stirring feeling of excitement and celebration in the air. We look forward to celebrating our 75th Anniversary with a dinner dance at Mashomack!
Our celebration with be enveloped in nostalgia as we look back through the years at our rich and successful history.
Looking forward to our future, we are also full of optimism.
We continue to learn and to reach out to the community. There will be a “Mini Show” this year, which many of our members refer to as a “learning show”. This show will be preceded by a design demonstration program. It is amazing and truly wonderful the way we so eagerly teach each other and learn from each other.
As we begin 2009, let us keep our theme in mind: “With Nostalgia for our Past and Optimism for our Future”.
